The Art of Musical Instruments

Image
Music is an art in this world, for centuries there have been numerous types of instruments and they are all magical in their respective tones . A famous French writer named Victor Hugo once said, "Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent". Music is a powerful tool by which people are brought together and memories are created and the tool for music is instruments. There are many kinds of instruments in the world...most famous are guitar, piano, violin, trumpet, flute etc. For me these are all majestic and hold their upmost respect...music can be a lot of things to people, for some its happiness, for some it reminds them of their dear ones, for some it is excitement. Everyone has their own individual answers for what music is to them but for me it is a dimension that takes me away from all the problems, responsibilities and stress from this worldly life. It's as if I'm in a different place where only music, instruments and I ...

Maths teacher to some, father figure to many

Image
Ever since my O-Level days I've been quite fond about the beauty of Mathematics and how in some way or another everything in life is connected to this field. One of the main reasons why math has stuck with me for so long is because of the excellent teachers I've had throughout this journey. Near the end of my A-Levels journey I was looking for someone who could teach me Further Maths as there aren't many teachers out there who would go through the extra effort of  teaching this very niche subject. But there was this one teacher I found out about through a friend.  His name is Muzahid Feroz but we students lovingly call him MQ sir. He is very well know among the Alevels math community and rightfully so!    MQ sir(Middle) A final reunion for all the current students who have studied under him He treats all of his students equally and sees the potential in each and everyone of us.

Designing my personal retreat

Image
As I am an architecture student, we were given a project on designing my own retreat that I’m working on at the moment.  T his project is about creating a sanctuary where I can escape the hectic pace of everyday life. This space is intended for 3-4 day stays, providing me with an opportunity to refresh my mind, meditate, and immerse myself in nature. The unique aspect of this project is that we are required to design our retreats around our personal hobbies. We are also required to make  a model with miniature furniture to visualize the design along with sheets showing the plan, elevation and section and my journey through out the project.  Concept The main concept of my retreat is to ensure minimal disturbance to the natural environment. I envision myself as a guest in the home of the existing animals, trees, and ecosystem. This perspective is rooted in the idea that humans often treat nature as if we own it, disregarding the fact that the land and oceans have been home...

Whispers of Victory: 33rd July Anthem

Image
Bangladesh waved its victory on 5th August, also known as the mighty 36th July. We all know that story, right? But many of us didn't witness the revolution on July 33. After a long, bloody curfew enforced by the autocrat, the quota movement slowly resumed on July 31. However, the movement started losing momentum, as no mainstream media were broadcasting the events, and the internet was filtered. Little did the government know that Gen-Z was always one step ahead. They avoided mainstream media and public social platforms to announce their upcoming protests, relying instead on private groups and encrypted platforms. While many dismissed these announcements as rumors, government propaganda, or even traps set for protesters, small-scale protests took place nationwide on July 31st and August 1st. I joined the protest in front of Doel Chattar on August 1st. To be honest, the turnout wasn't impressive, and law enforcement personnel outnumbered the protesters. Multi-level checkpoints w...
