Cooking my favourite food, passing my favourite pastime

Cooking has always been more than just a necessity for me. It is a delightful journey of creativity and exploration. I also enjoy watching cooking shows, reading cookbooks, and attending workshops to expand my knowledge as it is a great part of my leisure.

One of my favourite foods to cook is pasta🍝 as it is my most favourite snack. It is not only delicious but also very quick to prepare. One of the aspects I love most about pasta is its variety. My personal favourite is creamy chicken macaroni.

Cooking pasta is also a wonderful experience.

The simple process of boiling water, adding salt, and watching the pasta transform is very soothing.I enjoy experimenting with different sauces and ingredients also seasonal vegetables or herbs. Sometimes I crave for penne arrabbiata and can make it quite well.

I’m very fond of sweets. There’s no diabetic patient in our house so all of us have sweet tooth. I love making and sharing it. Whenever guests visit our house I organise the dessert’s section every time by making firni, custard,my mom’s favourite faluda,my dad’s favourite shahi tukra and so on. Not only I enjoy making but also I love to decorate the dishes in various ways with different toppings like nuts, seeds and fruits.

My homemade desserts evoke feelings of happiness and everybody praise a lot. This always inspires me to keep up my cooking.

Cooking is my favorite pastime because it is a joyful expression of love and a way to celebrate life's simple pleasures. The kitchen has become my happy place now, where I can indulge in my passion and share it with those I care about. My cooking skills have become a significant part of who I am. They reflect my passion for creativity, my love for sharing experiences, and my dedication to learning. Cooking allows me to express myself and connect with others in a meaningful way. As I continue on this flavourful journey, I look forward to discovering new tastes, honing my skills, and creating unforgettable moments around the dining table.
