“Crushes, Crashes & Chaos: Lessons I Didn't See Coming”

The ups and downs that taught me what really matters

Hey, I'm Suailim Islam Sakif and this is a snapshot of some moments that shaped my life. From cute childhood crushes to painful bike accidents. I've learned a thing or two about love, loyalty and the importance of true friends.

My First Crush

Going back to Class 3 let's. For some reason, I thought singing to myself would make this girl smile. I was going to give up everything to win over her. However, things changed and my family relocated. I was unexpectedly enrolled in an all-boys school and I can assure you that it wasn't enjoyable! However, that is how I discovered my first life lesson: occasionally, things don't turn out the way you had hoped.

I made a new friend named Rodorshi when I went to a combined school, which was a relief then understanding that my Class 3 crush wasn't a romantic interest. Just a crush existed. Love and desire are entirely different things.

The Mysterious Cat and My First Bike Disaster

Class 6 was a big year for me. My dad taught me how to ride a bike and within two weeks .I was zooming around like a pro. But things went south a year later. While home for Eid vacations , a black cat darted out in front of me, and bam! I crashed. Three stitches on my head and a lot of pain later, my cousins told me there was no cat. Spooky, right?

That’s when I realized life has more than just what we see - here might be unseen forces, jinns or otherwise, that we can’t always explain.

Love and Betrayal

As I got older, I started learning about love the hard way. My first real relationship? Didn’t work out. Then, I thought I found the one.I gave her everything but two years later, she cheated on me. That’s when I remembered a line from Scam 1992: Trust and loyalty are the most expensive things in the world and cheap people can’t afford them.

Big lesson here: Be careful who you trust. explain.

True Friendship:

My university years came with another bike accident but this time there was no mysterious cat involved. I got injured badly but I couldn’t afford to miss my semester. That’s when my three best friends stepped up helping me out every step of the way. Thanks to them. I finished with a CGPA of 3.7!

The lesson? If you have friends like that, hold onto them. They’re like diamonds—rare and unbreakable.

Family: The Backbone of It All

At the end of the day no lesson has been as valuable as the one about family. Through every mistake, failure and wrong turn. My parents have always been there, standing by my side. They’re not just my biggest cheerleaders when I succeed. They’re also my harshest critics when I mess up making sure I learn from every single mistake.

I’ve lost count of how many times I thought I knew better only to realize later that they had been right all along. From small school troubles to big life decisions my parents’ guidance has been like a compass keeping me on track.

Here’s the thing: if you’ve got good parents half your problems seem to disappear. Their love and support have shown me that no matter how tough things get with family by your side. you’re never truly alone.

Conclusion

Life’s been a mix of highs and lows but every moment taught me something priceless. From love and betrayal to accidents and friendships. These are the lessons I carry with me.
