Culinary Adventures in Cooking & Baking

Cooking and baking have always brought me happiness and comfort. My inspiration is my mom. Her food always tastes and looks good.

My mom cooks the best food in the world. As a kid, I had always watched my mom cooking, slowly started to observe how she does her cooking techniques and I always tried to help her with small things like bringing water, mixing the batter, etc.

The first thing I made was roti when I was around 4. The first time I made roti, it felt like exploring a new country without a map. But after sometime it started to look like a real one. I was so happy when my roti was circle. It was so hard to make circle roti that time.

There were so many times when I brunt myself while cooking. I also have a scar on my hand from a burn. But I still love to cook as it gives me pleasure and enhance my mood.

I'm interested in trying out new recipes, and I see every cooking attempt as a thrilling challenge. Sometimes my recipes turn out well, but other times they don't work as planned. Even when things go wrong, I learn valuable lessons. These experiences motivate me to improve my skills and continue experimenting with new cooking ideas.

I experimented with many recipes during the COVID-19 shutdown in 2020, which boosted what I had learned. Whether or not I was successful, every attempt helped me improve and expand my cooking skills. The challenges motivated me to cook during the lockdown, making it even more satisfying.

For me, cooking and baking means to expressing my emotions. I like to cook when I am happy or when I am sad. I also love to bake cakes.

For me, baking is so much fun and I get to be creative while baking. I like to decorate cakes with my own design and preference. I think baking is all about creativity. However you do it, it becomes a design

Baking also teaches me patience, whenever I try to bake a cake I have to be very much careful. A small mistake can ruin the cake and if its ruined nothing can’t fix it afterwards.

My secret cookbook is my mom’s recipe book. It’s like a special secret where all recipes are kept.

I also learned baking from my mom. When I was a kid she had always baked cake on my birthday. They were so beautiful and delicious at the same time. Every time she bakes a cake it turns out perfect. I have tried many cake recipes but none turned out perfect as my mom’s.

The experiences of experimenting with new recipes and overcoming challenges have been deeply rewarding. They’ve allowed me to grow and learn in ways I hadn't expected. Each step in this journey has reinforced my passion and commitment, and I look forward to continuing this fulfilling pursuit in the future.
