Visit of Shunamgonj

Traveling is a very interesting thing to control your emotions 😄. I love travelling one place to another place. To tell about, I have visited many places but the traveling I get most pleasure is travelling in Shunamgonj which is my mother's hometown. I cannot but share this experience here.

To begin with, as I have mentioned Shunamgonj is my mother's hometown I went second last time in 2023 on Eidul Fitre vacation in order to spend time with my grandparents and my aunty and my cousins and also to travel some places located there. The fact which should be mentioned that the time was after two months of the dangerous flood of that year where Shunamgonj was mostly affected. Some spots of travelling was affected much accept many. By the way, the situation of my grandparents living area was normal when we visited after flood affection. 

Now, I would like to share my experience of that travelling. I with my family started for Shunamgonj in the very begining of the morning 🌅 by a Hiace which my father hired. The journey was long but enjoyable. We reached to our destination at afternoon. Then we took some rest and have our launch. My granny cooked many delicious 🤤 dish which she served cordially. For example, there was chicken curry 🍛, fried fish 🐠, vegetable curry and so on. I ate with full appetition. Then, we spent some days with our grandparents and our cousins. We watched movies and played cricket 🏏 and thus enjoyed a lot. 

One day, my mom's aunt and uncle came to visit us and assured us to visit Shadhapathor and Ratargul which are two beautiful travelling spots of Shunamgonj. Me and my sister became excited to visit there and our parents assured us that we will have a visit there. As talk as work, we started for these two spots after the very next day. My father hired a Noah with the of my mother's uncle. We started at first for Shadhapathor as driver offered because he has a clear Idea 💡 about visiting these spots. Shadhapathor is not so far from my grandparents house just about 15 to 20 kilometres. 

In the way to Shadhapathor we stopped our car for tea gardens to see the beauty and obviously to take some photos. We all took photographs with different poses.

Then we start for one of the most beautiful spots Shadhapathor. Reaching there the beauty thrilled 😄 our mind. There was various types of and colours of stones inside flowing water 💦 which was  noticeable. We  all folded our clothes and enjoy the fresh water by walking inside the water and tooking photos by using the hats and sunglasses. We also took some family photographs. The water flowing has a connection from India. The colour of water is incredible as it looked so beautiful. We all had some ice cream 🍦 as it was a sunny day.  At time of leaving the place we ate watermelons 🍉 which was so sweet to taste and we enjoyed.

After that we had our Journey for Ratargul. Actually Ratargul is please of enjoying boat ride through forest and we knew after visiting the spot. After reaching there we hired a boat for our ride and then the boatman helped us to cover the the whole forest. I took some photos beside trees 🌲 inside water and I feel amazing.

We all enjoyed the boat journey by having beautiful scenery of Ratargul. After boat journey we had jhalmuri and nuts 🥜. 

Then we went for my maternal uncle's restaurant which known as Hotel Radisson. Actually, the hotel was not so far away from our visiting as spots so we thought to go to there. Reaching the restaurant we meet with my maternal uncle and he helped us to visit the restaurant. Then we had our launch from that restaurant. We enjoyed the lunch which was quite delicious 😋. Then we had our prayers 🙏 

and took some rest. After that we had some picks with maternal uncle inside the high class restaurant and also in front of the restaurant. Thus, we finished our journey. We came home at night 🌉.

Traveling is always interesting. By travelling we move from one place to another place which refresh our mind and we get pleasure. In addition, we know about the particular place and the living people of that place which removes our narrowness of mind and enrich our thoughts 💭. To conclude, it was one a memorable day in my life how I enjoyed the whole day trough travelling of Shunamgonj.
