The Person Who Inspires Me the Most

Growing up I saw many people but my cousin sister Farzana Faruk Jhumu inspired me the most.
Talking about her, she is a computer engineer and a climate activist. She read from MIST in computer science. She is 6 years younger than me and always helped me with study.

As we were younger she was the oldest among us so whenever we went on a trip she was in charge of us and took care of us. She always helped me with any problem I faced, starting from hijab selection to software-related issues she was the only solution. The amazing part about her is she never told us no to whether she is busy or not, she is always there to help us and that makes her the best.
In 2020, though she was studying computer science she was also very interested in other community work. A small organization that we made named "Kath Pencil" was the first initiative we took where we used to help poor kids with stationery items and took sponsorship for them. As we got busy with studies we stopped working on that organization but she continued and joined other organizations and used to work for girls.

In 2021, she engaged herself with other organizations like 350.org and UNICEF. Suddenly one day she was in a contest where a contest was happening and she had to solve a riddle where she took part and luckily she won that contest and the contest was from UNICEF. She got a prize of a humongous amount of dark chocolates which she shared with all of us.

In 2022, more surprises we yet to come in her life, and among the chocolates she also got the attention of the UN and got a chance to attend COP27 in Egypt to represent Bangladesh at the end of the year on Nov 6, 2022, she went on her first international trip and represented Bangladesh.

After that, she also joined COP28 and many other conferences in other countries like- Ukraine, London, America, Sweden, Germany, Dubai, Italy, France, Malaysia, Nepal, and Thailand, and recently traveled to Turkey. Now she is doing a Masters in climate-related study to further get a permanent job in UNICEF.

Moreover, she inspired me by doing an unorthodox job and leading a life where she can represent our country talk about our sufferings, and make an impact that will help our youth. I have always looked up to her and I wish I would be like her one day in my field being the best out of me.
